LIFE BIOREFFORMED aims to boost the sustainable Mediterranean-forest management by upgrading an existing biorefinery using torrefaction and pyrolysis (TP) to produce renewable chemicals and fuels from forest biomass.

This is a four-year European Union project within the LIFE Resource Efficiency, including soil and forests, and green and circular economy, running until September 2024.
